The Community Foundation Wales has launched the Disability Fund to support organisations and groups supporting people living with disabilities in Wales.
Priorities

The Disability Fund will provide support to organisations/projects that:
- Deliver emotional and wellbeing support to people with disabilities
- Purchase equipment for people with disabilities, to improve their quality of life They will not fund equipment that is available from the NHS. It is recommended that you give examples of the types of equipment required in the application form.
- Additional healthcare needs to improve quality of life, employment and/or independence
- They will prioritise organisations and projects that are increasing accessibility to those who are underserved or vulnerable from the most deprived communities in Wales.
Funding Information
- Organisations can apply up to £10,000 per annum for up to 3 years to support costs related to work supporting disabled people within the identified themes above and have an income of approximately £200,000 in the latest reported financial year.
Eligibility Criteria
This Fund is open to constituted community-based charities and organisations specifically working with disabled people in Wales. These include:
- Constituted Groups
- Registered Charities & Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIO)
- Companies Limited by Guarantee
- Community Interest Companies
- Social Enterprises
