Voice Call for Proposals: Inviting CSOs for Laos Sudden Opportunity Grant Program

Deadline: 31 December 2018

Through this sudden opportunity grant, Voice Laos is inviting Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) to undertake a joint action to address specific, unanticipated opportunities to influence policy in Laos, especially those that could have a ripple effect or that can impact one or more of Voice target groups in one or more of the impact themes.

It is an opportunity for strategic advocacy, coordination of CSOs and/collective action that can lead to change in legal decision, policy/laws, a shift in public attitudes and practices to challenge discrimination, promote equal access and opportunities, enhance social well-being, and/or encourage social development.

Target Groups

  • Indigenous groups and ethnic minorities.
  • Age-discriminated vulnerable groups, notably the young and the elderly
  • Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) people
  • People living with disabilities
  • Women facing exploitation, abuse and/or violence
