USAID/Cambodia: Seeking Applications for USAID Cambodia Social and Behavior Change Activity

Deadline: 17 November 2017

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking applications for a Cooperative Agreement from qualified U.S. and Non-U.S. non-profit Nongovernmental Organizations (NGOs), for profit NGOs, private voluntary organizations (PVOs), Institutions of Higher Education/Universities and Nongovernmental International Organizations — excluding all countries not included in Geographic Code 937, to implement a program entitled “USAID Cambodia Social and Behavior Change Activity”.

USAID/Cambodia seeks to achieve the purpose of improved health behaviors among Cambodians, in support of the Mission’s health sector goal of ensuring that Cambodians seek and receive quality health care with decreased financial hardship through more sustainable systems. The Activity will accomplish this result through two specific objectives:

  • strengthened public sector systems for oversight and coordination of social behavior change (SBC) at the national and provincial levels;
  • improved ability of individuals to adopt healthy behaviors.

This Activity will support the purpose described in USAID/OPHE’s new Project Appraisal Document (PAD), which is to ensure that Cambodians seek and receive quality health care with decreased financial hardship through more sustainable systems.

Funding Information

USAID/Cambodia intends to provide up to $10 million in total USAID funding to support this program.
