The Community Foundation for Staffordshire is proving grants to enhance the provision of service, provide new services or to help make organisations more efficient or to improve the scope of their provision.
We Love the Moorlands is a local fund that was established in 2009 and provides small grants to a wide range of projects based in the district of the Staffordshire Moorlands. In April 2021, the fund was launched and holds two rounds of funding spread throughout the year to award funding to local community organisations.
Project Aims
- Provide a service for the local area, or for local residents
- Improve the lives of local people
- Be providing a service or facility that would otherwise not be available
- They would like to see “fun” activities and projects which aim to bring communities together
Funding Information
- You can apply for a grant between £100 and £1,000.
Beneficiaries
- The fund will support residents of Staffordshire Moorlands.
Geographic Reach they will Fund
- The local appeal fund will support organisations based in, or working for the benefit of people, in the following local authority areas;
- Staffordshire Moorlands
Eligibility Criteria
- They will support the following types of organisation;
- Constituted community groups
- Constituted voluntary groups
- Registered Charities
- Social Enterprises
Ineligible
- They are unable to support the following types of organisation;
- Non-constituted community groups
- Non-constituted voluntary groups
- Statutory agencies
- Limited companies, sole traders or partnerships without charitable aims
