The Bundaberg Regional Council’s Community Services Program is now open for applications to provide assistance to local community groups/organisations, who make positive contributions to the quality of life in the Bundaberg Region.

Funding Information
- The maximum amount available from the Community Services Grant Program per application, is $5,000.
- Duration: four (4) months of the completion of your project/event.
Eligibility Criteria
- Not for Profit organisations or registered Charities based in the Bundaberg Regional Council area.
- Groups/organisations who have a current Public Liability
- Groups/organisations who have the majority of members residing in the Bundaberg Regional Council area.
- Groups who acquitted any previous Bundaberg Regional Council Grants satisfactorily.
- Auspice organisations who meet criteria and accept legal and financial responsibility for your project Certificate.
- Successful applicants will only receive funding once in the financial year from any Community Grants Program.

Organisations can submit one application per funding round in the following categories:
- Community Development Grant are made available to encourage the development of innovative programs in the areas of community, welfare, education and support.
- Community Events Grant aims to provide financial assistance to the community to support community events.
- Sport and Recreation aims to provide financial assistance to sport and active recreation organisations towards opportunities to increase participation and towards new or upgraded sport and recreation facilities. Furthermore, it aims to provide opportunities to these organisations to increase the club’s capacity to raise funds and therefore increase their viability.
Ineligible
- Groups/organisations that have received other Council funding with the exception of Special Event Grants in the current financial year.
- Groups/organisations that have not satisfactorily acquitted previous Council grants.
- Political or discriminatory and for-profit groups,
- Schools and Universities
