The West Oxfordshire District Council is accepting applications for its Community Activity Grant to support not for profit community groups to deliver activities and services which meet the needs of residents most affected by the cost of living crisis.
Funding Information
- Grants awarded will be up to £1,000.
Eligible Activity

Some examples of eligible activity include:
- Information, advice and support around debt and energy.
- Volunteer driver support.
- Cost associated with the preparation of meals for residents.
- Cost associated with the production of support information for residents.
- Staff costs associated with a local response.
- Heating and lighting costs for community halls associated with existing community gatherings such as lunch clubs, family drop-ins, coffee mornings.
- Heating and lighting costs for community halls associated with new activities aimed at helping people who are more vulnerable during the cost of living crisis.
Eligibility Criteria

They will consider applications from:
- Town and parish councils, village hall committees, voluntary sector groups including community action groups, charitable groups, faith groups and new/informal groups (only when partnering with a formal group who will be the applicant) directly serving the communities of West Oxfordshire.
- Non-profit and charitable groups based in or directly serving the communities of West Oxfordshire.
- Applicant organisations will need to show that they are organised (by providing with a copy of their constitution or rules) and supply details of their bank account.
