Fallon Health is seeking applications for its Mini Grant Program to fund lower cost projects of value to non-profit organizations within Fallon’s service area.
Focus Areas
- Food insecurity: Fallon Health’s goal is to help maintain food assistance programs for those areas or populations that are particularly vulnerable to food insecurity as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to traditional resources, they are looking to support new innovative programming, such as community gardens, mobile farmer’s markets, and summer feeding programs.
- Senior health initiatives: With a focus on those most impacted by the pandemic, Fallon Health aims to support organizations and programs that provide services to seniors that overcome or mitigate social isolation and loneliness. Particular attention will be paid to programs that ensure access to care including behavioral health resources, safety in homes and communities, and access to food and utilities. Examples include:
- Caregiver support services
- Transportation to medical appointments
- Healthy living programs
- Falls/community/home safety
- Access to nutritious foods/mobile pantries and markets/Meals on Wheels
Funding Information
- Fallon Health’s Mini Grants are awarded in amounts up to $5,000.

Grants will be awarded to programs across the key service areas in Massachusetts with a particular focus on the following counties:
- Primary funding markets:
- Berkshire
- Middlesex
- Worcester
- Secondary funding markets:
- Barnstable
- Bristol
- Essex
- Franklin
- Hampden
- Hampshire
- Norfolk
- Plymouth
- Suffolk
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible organizations include non-profit health and social service agencies, public schools, city or town agencies, community health centers, and hospitals, with a focus on organizations providing services to populations throughout the service areas.
- Organizations are eligible to receive funding for a mini grant once per calendar year.
