Mondriaan Fund’s Grant Program for the Netherlands

Indiana Humanities announces INcommon Grant (US)

Deadline: 26-Apr-21

The Mondriaan Fund is seeking applications for its grant program entitled “Grant for International Collaborative Projects with Heritage Institutes” that is intended for one or more Dutch cultural heritage institutions that collaborate with foreign cultural heritage institutions in research projects in fields covered by both of their collections.

The objective is to promote new insights, research and international collaborations in the field of cultural heritage whose importance will draw international attention and which will result in a presentation.

The Mondriaan Fund provides financial support with the purpose of stimulating the relevant development and visibility of visual arts and cultural heritage in the Netherlands.

The grant may also be requested for the development phase of the project, for example to pay for the travel and accommodation expenses incurred by researchers and curators, and towards the costs of presenting the study results in the Netherlands.

The amount of a Grant for International Collaborative Projects with Heritage Institutes will be determined per application.

Target Groups and Target Areas

Cooperation

Many of the Mondriaan Fund’s grants are aimed at encouraging cooperation between organizations, artists, mediators, clients and/or other private or public parties, and therefore collaborative applications between various parties are accepted. Collaborative applications are favoured in the assessment, provided the substantive criteria are met.
