The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) together with the German House for Research and Innovation (DWIH) New Delhi and the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) and with the support of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, is currently accepting applications for The Falling Wall Lab India program.
The Falling Walls Lab is an interdisciplinary forum for aspiring scientists and professionals from around the world. It is part of the annual, internationally renowned, conference for breakthroughs in science and society, the Falling Walls Conference. With the slogan “Share Your Idea!” the Falling Walls Lab offers hundreds emerging talents, entrepreneurs and innovators a stage to pitch their research work, initiatives or business models to their peers and a distinguished jury from academia and business.
Program Benefits
A distinguished jury selects the winner who:
- travels to Germany and qualifies directly for the global Lab Finale in Berlin on 8 November as one of 100 international winners (travel and accommodation are covered).
- wins a ticket for the Falling Walls Conference where leaders from science, industry and policy-making meet.
Eligibility Criteria
- The great ideas for all fields are welcomed to apply.
- Applicants can apply if they are a Bachelor or Master student, PhD candidate, post-doc, young professional or entrepreneur.
