Applications are open for the Pears Challenge, a Fellowship that supports a select group of experienced Israeli entrepreneurs and innovators through the process of developing and commercializing technologies for developing country markets.
The Pears Challenge program provides a dynamic, collaborative environment for Pears Challenge fellows to develop, test and actualize their ideas.
Program Structure

- Ideation Lab : January-May 2017
Applicants can participate in an ideation lab exploring challenges and opportunities to learn about business models that work in emerging markets and acquire human centred design tools.

Pears Challenge Fellows with promising initial ideas will be invited to join an exciting ten-day trip to India for partnership development.

Fellows receive support for as long as necessary to transform your business ideas into success stories and access expertise and networking support through the Pears Challenge team and community.

Eligibility Criteria
Strong candidates for the Pears 2017 Challenge will have substantial experience in business, technology, healthcare or design and be motivated by empathy and the desire to address some of the most pressing challenges in the world today. Candidates are not required to apply with experience as a healthcare practitioner, computer programmer, or working within international development.
