Cities Alliance intends to use the funding that is the subject of this call for proposals to reduce gender inequalities in Tunisian cities, by building the capacity of secondary cities for gender responsive budgeting.

Gender-sensitive initiatives in the city address the diverse needs of women, men, boys and girls. Gender and strategic gender needs are taken into account. A strong gender analysis is needed to understand the different roles and conditions of men and women in a given context.
