The goal of RCAY is to achieve and maintain HIV/AIDS epidemic control specifically among PBF women, infants, children, and youth in PEPFAR-supported countries. This focus also includes mitigation and prevention efforts with the high priority sub-populations of OVC; PBF women, their partners, and their HIV-exposed infants; children; and AGYW and their partners. Objectives

  • Attain and maintain HIV epidemic control among at risk pregnant and breastfeeding (PBF) women, infants, children, and youth.
  • Support the transition of prime funding and implementation to capable local partners in order to meet the PEPFAR goal of 70% of funding to local partners.
