MEST Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship - Ghana

Deadline: 30-Sep-2025

The TalentA 2025–2026 educational grant program aims to strengthen and develop women’s farming in Ukraine, particularly in the context of the full-scale war unleashed by Russia.

The focus of the program includes access to information to ensure the viability of participants’ own business while considering sustainable development practices, the opportunity to win a grant to implement or develop product processing, and the ability to implement social responsibility components that contribute to achieving sustainable development goals and meeting the urgent needs of local communities.

The program includes a training course and a micro-project grant competition designed to help participants gain knowledge for business development, launching agro-processing projects, and expanding local food production. Lectures are provided by leading experts from the academic and business communities, as well as specialists from Corteva Agriscience with advanced knowledge accumulated through its global agricultural experience.

Training will run from October 2025 to March 2026 in an online format, held at least twice a week on weekdays from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Participants who successfully complete the program will be eligible to compete in the TalentA-2025 grant competition, where the prize fund of over 600 thousand hryvnias will be distributed among the projects that score the highest points as determined by the expert council. Grants focus on local processing of agricultural products and the production of ready-made food products, contributing to sustainable development and meeting the food needs of territorial communities. Mentoring support is provided to prepare project applications and refine ideas.

Eligible participants must be female farmers permanently working in or owning an agricultural production officially registered and operating in the agricultural sector for at least one year, located in settlements with populations of no more than 10,000 people in Ukraine. Participants must be at least 18 years old, free of criminal convictions or ongoing administrative offenses, not employed by Corteva Agriscience or its cooperating entities, and must comply with the program rules. Participation is free and aimed at those seeking business development and improvement. Registration is open until September 30, 2025, and selected participants will be notified by October 13, 2025.
