The Bois Énergie Sahel project is publishing a call for projects for technical support in Burkina Faso and Niger.
The Bois Énergie Sahel project aims to increase the rate of equipment and use of clean and efficient cooking stoves (CPE) in the main urban centers of Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso, in particular through support for commercial development. producers and distributors in the sector. For this, the Bois Énergie Sahel project seeks to support the actors of the sector in the elimination of obstacles to the adoption of CPE solutions by working mainly on:

- Physical and financial accessibility
Objectives and Themes
- The objective of this call for projects is to support companies in the distribution, marketing and financing of CPE equipment and fuels (including improved quality biomass stove, LPG, fuels from agricultural residues, etc.) thanks to technical and financial support.
- This support will therefore focus primarily on commercial support, sales force and marketing-communication promotion and, on an ad hoc basis, technical assistance support for production and quality control. It may consist of, among other things:
- The redesign / improvement / deployment of the commercial and marketing strategy.
- Sales stimulation programs including the restructuring and support for sales and marketing teams.
- The implementation of digital commercial monitoring tools (CRM).
- Assistance in the design of innovative and adapted communication campaigns.
- The possible purchase of communication campaigns in parallel with the work carried out on the professionalization of distribution and quality control.
- Support for the possible hiring of HR or the purchase of supplies/equipment related to commercial and marketing activities on behalf of the company.
- The project focuses on the cities of Ouagadougou, Bobo-Dioulasso and Koudougou in Burkina Faso and Niamey in Niger. The structures applying must operate in at least one of these four cities.
Maximum project duration: 30 months (April 2023 to October 2025).
