CFPs: Engaging NGOs/CSOs to Support Livestock Producers and Paludiculture Processors (Ukraine)

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) invites NGOs and civil society organizations (CSOs) to act as Responsible Parties to support livestock producers, paludiculture processors, and members of agricultural partnerships and associations in seven regions of Ukraine: Volyn, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Khmelnytskyi, and Vinnytsia. The initiative focuses on strengthening sustainable agricultural practices, enhancing production capacities, and building organizational skills among farmers and processors.

Programme Focus Areas

Funding and Implementation

Selected organizations are expected to submit a detailed financial proposal covering all activities and administrative costs, alongside a clear and actionable plan for delivering project outputs within the specified timeframe.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must demonstrate:

  1. Experience in implementing livestock support programs with at least two projects serving a minimum of 100 farmers, family farms, or agricultural enterprises.

  2. Capability in managing projects or contracts with budgets of at least USD 100,000 in support of agricultural producers.

  3. Capacity-building expertise, particularly in:

    • Sustainable livestock farming

    • Agricultural product processing

    • Crop cultivation for feed production

    • Paludiculture practices

Organizations not meeting these minimum requirements will not advance to the technical evaluation stage.

Evaluation Process

  1. Pass/Fail Screening: Assessment of minimum eligibility criteria

  2. Technical Evaluation: Only compliant organizations proceed, evaluated on quality, feasibility, and alignment with UNDP objectives
