Deadline: 12-Nov-2025
The World Food Programme (WFP) has announced a special call for proposals under the 2026 SANAD Emergency Response Safety Nets Project in White Nile, Sudan.
The project focuses on food security and cash assistance, aiming to ensure that all targeted beneficiaries safely receive full cash-based transfers for 12 months while strengthening resilience and local systems for sustained safety nets.
This initiative seeks to address urgent humanitarian needs in the White Nile region by supporting vulnerable populations facing food insecurity and economic hardship. Through cash-based assistance, the program empowers beneficiaries to make essential choices that directly improve their living conditions while contributing to local market recovery and community stability.
WFP’s engagement under this call also emphasizes building long-term resilience by reinforcing local safety net systems. This approach supports both immediate relief and sustainable development outcomes, ensuring that communities are better prepared for future crises and shocks.
