Deadline: 25-Sep-2025
The World Food Programme (WFP) has launched a new initiative in the departments of La Paz and Intibucá in Honduras aimed at strengthening food security, nutrition, and protection support for vulnerable populations.
This effort focuses on accurately identifying and registering beneficiaries to ensure that assistance reaches those who need it most in these communities.
The project will begin by deploying a trained team responsible for collecting data directly from the targeted municipalities. This team will work closely with prioritized health facilities to coordinate activities and ensure that the targeting process is both efficient and inclusive. Their work will be critical to establishing a clear and reliable baseline for delivering food and nutrition assistance.
Once data collection is completed, a comprehensive final report will be produced, providing a detailed record of all registered beneficiaries by area. This report will categorize beneficiaries according to criteria established by WFP, offering a precise understanding of community needs and enabling better planning of future interventions.
To ensure the credibility and reliability of the data, all collected information will be subjected to local validation, verified by WFP, and certified by the Ministry of Health (SESAL). This rigorous process will guarantee the quality, accuracy, and consistency of the beneficiary information, ensuring that the response is well-targeted and transparent.
By strengthening data systems and coordination in La Paz and Intibucá, this initiative will help improve food security and nutrition outcomes while enhancing protection for vulnerable groups in these regions of Honduras.
