The Michigan Fellows Agribusiness Initiative (MFAI) Uganda is seeking emerging community leaders in Uganda to participate in the 3rd and 4th Cohorts of the Ecourse4 professional online training. Ecourse4 is free and adopts a highly competitive application process.
Fellows will be trained in 4 major thematic areas that are: leadership, project management, civic participation, and fundraising across 4 cohorts.
Each cohort will last 1 month and upon successful completion, fellows will receive a certificates of acquired skills courtesy of MFAI and its partner institutions. Fellows are required to spend a minimum of 40 hours on the Michigan State University (MSU) Alliance for African Partnerships (AAP) Bridge to study and connect with peers, tutors and mentors who are alumni of U.S Department of State (DoS) exchange programs in Uganda.
Application Criteria
- Must be a resident of: Kampala, Wakiso, Jinja, Iganga, Mbarara, and Ntungamo
- 18-28 years old
- A minimum academic qualifications of A level certificate. Students may apply and will be considered on a case by case basis.
- Must have good digital literacy skills.
