Deadline: 15-Apr-22
With the call for application “Diversity Tandem”, the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia is offering publicly supported cultural institutions and organisations an opportunity to assess their structures and to introduce a more diversity-oriented approach.
The selected institutions and organisations take part in a two-day workshop and benefit from one-on-one advice on how to develop a diversity strategy.
What does Diversity Tandem offer?
- Diversity Tandem offers support for projects that launch and run diversity processes at various operational and structural levels in a sustainable way. This includes cooperation over a lengthy period with mandated diversity experts that accompany the development, implementation and evaluation of sustainable diversity strategies.
- As part of the Diversity Tandem programme, selected institutions take part in a two-day diversity workshop to develop and expand their own individual diversity strategy. The workshop is guided by recognised diversity experts and paves the way for the submission of a project in autumn.
Funding Information
- Depending on the project, the sum granted can amount up to a maximum of CHF 50,000. The institutions concerned must contribute means of their own and, ideally, third-party funds as well.
- The support is intended for diversity processes lasting for a lengthy period, at most for three years.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligible are publicly supported Swiss cultural institutions and organisations from all arts disciplines that are willing to work towards diversity and equal opportunities within their organisational structure and to develop and implement long-term diversity strategies with the help of diversity experts. Two persons per institutions at most are entitled to take part in the workshop, one of whom must be in a senior management position (e.g. management board member, head of HR, etc.).
Ineligible
The planning and implementation of individual outreach or arts projects or projects in an educational context are not eligible for support under this programme.
