The Open Call for Grants are announced every year for Egyptian artists and creatives looking to implement their artistic project in Egypt, without limitations to age, or theme of project.
The main condition is that the applicant has to be Egyptian, their project to fall under arts and culture, and be implemented in Egypt. Types of artistic and cultural projects could be, and not limited to: Dance, Music, Theatre, Visual arts, Design, Crafts, Cinema, Painting, Photography, Literature and more!
The program offers two kinds of grants depending on the scale of the project and the experience of the applicant. Small Grants of up to 200,000 EGP are available for individuals or small institutions, and applicants do not need prior experience in managing projects. Medium Grants of up to 700,000 EGP are designed for larger institutions and require at least two years of experience in managing projects.
The deadline for submission is 30 September 2025, providing ample time for artists and cultural practitioners to prepare their applications and present their project ideas. This opportunity aims to strengthen the cultural landscape in Egypt by supporting diverse and creative projects across multiple artistic disciplines.
