Deadline: 31-Oct-2025
The Finnish Cultural Foundation’s Expenditure grants are designed to cover activity-related costs associated with specific projects.
These may include expenses for archaeological excavations, theatre productions, music master classes, or the purchase of individual tools and equipment. In certain cases, expenditure grants can also be used to cover exceptional travel costs directly related to the grant project. However, trips to conferences, meetings, or lectures are not eligible for standalone funding.
University and polytechnic students completing their basic degree studies are eligible to apply for expenditure grants to support extraordinary costs associated with their dissertation work, including fieldwork or materials necessary for research. Registered organisations may also apply for grants strictly for expenditure purposes, ensuring that the funding supports project-specific activities rather than general operations.
Expenditure grants aim to enable successful completion of projects by providing financial support for essential, project-related costs, allowing applicants to focus on achieving their objectives.
