The Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs is pleased to launch a call for nominations for the 2022 Governor’s Arts Awards.
Awards will be presented at the 2022 Iowa Arts Summit.
Award categories for 2022 are:
Governor's Arts Award
Recognizes an Iowa artist or artist team, nonprofit organization, and city or county that has undertaken particularly significant work in the arts over the past two years (July 1, 2020 to May 1, 2022).
Governor's Arts Legacy Award
Recognizes an Iowa artist or artist team, nonprofit or community that has had a particularly significant impact on the arts in Iowa over time.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nominate Iowa artists or artist teams, nonprofits and communities that have a significant impact on the vitality of the arts in the state.
- Self-nomination and/or the nomination of your own community or organization is acceptable.
