Request for Proposals: Revenue Arts Grants Program 2026 (Ireland)

Regional Arts Development Fund (Round 2) - Australia

Deadline: 04-Nov-2025

The Dublin City Council is now inviting applications for its Revenue Grants, aimed at supporting arts organisations that play a vital role in the city’s cultural life.

These grants are designed for professional organisations that align with the Council’s strategic goals and act as advocates for the arts across Dublin. Applicants must be located within the Dublin City Council administrative area or demonstrate significant impact within it.

A minimum grant of €10,000 is guaranteed to each successful applicant, with the possibility of receiving up to €40,000. Applicants can apply for more than one category; however, the total funding received will not exceed €40,000 across two categories. This cap ensures a fair and equitable distribution of funding among applicants.

To apply, organisations must submit a detailed budget outlining all expected income and expenditures for the proposed activities. This should include artist fees, technical and production costs, publicity, and administrative expenses. Income projections must include potential revenue from ticket sales, programme sales, or other funding sources. In-kind support should also be accounted for in both income and expenditure to present a full and transparent financial picture. Where other funding is listed as income, written confirmation from the relevant funder is required.

Eligible applicants are professional arts organisations with a proven track record and a clear contribution to the cultural goals of Dublin City Council. New applicants from all backgrounds and communities are encouraged to apply, including underrepresented groups and organisations reflecting the diversity of Irish society.

Applications will be deemed ineligible if they are incomplete, lack the most recent audited accounts, or request more than 50% matched funding from other sources. Other disqualifying factors include being based outside the Dublin City Council area without demonstrated local impact, not naming artists involved in the project, or submitting applications after the deadline or via email or hard copy.

The Revenue Grants programme represents a strong commitment from Dublin City Council to sustaining and growing a vibrant, inclusive arts sector in the city. Arts organisations are encouraged to apply with ambitious, well-planned proposals that reflect the full value of their contribution to Dublin’s cultural landscape.
