Selfie Contest – Selfie with Indian Handloom 2025

Deadline: 18-Aug-2025

The Office of the Development Commissioner (Handlooms), in collaboration with MyGov, is hosting a selfie contest that encourages Indian citizens to celebrate their connection with Indian handlooms. Participants are invited to wear Indian handloom garments and share creative selfies showcasing their bond with this traditional craft.

The contest offers a chance for recognition, with ten selected entries being featured on the official website. This initiative aims to promote awareness and pride in India’s rich handloom heritage.

The competition is open to all Indian citizens. Each photograph must be original and submitted in HD quality. Acceptable formats include JPEG, PNG, or PDF, and the image should align strictly with the handloom theme.

Photos containing inappropriate or offensive content such as nudity, violence, or anything that violates laws, religious sentiments, cultural practices, or environmental standards will be immediately disqualified.

By submitting their entries, participants grant the organizers full rights to use the photographs, including intellectual property rights, on an exclusive and royalty-free basis. All submissions must comply with the Indian Copyright Act, 1957, and any infringement will lead to disqualification.
