VivaTech is offering we are_ Challenge to build the future of French Creative Industries.
we are_ is a community that gathers 800 people who believe in the power of French Creative Industries: decision-makers, corporates, VC’s, startuppers, artists. The ambition is to create bridges between sectors such as music, cinema, fashion, luxury, tech and digital, live shows, video games to promote French Creative Industries in France and abroad.
This international event is a gathering of the world’s brightest minds, talents, and products and is a celebration of today’s innovations and tomorrow’s possibilities for everyone who believes in the power of technology to transform business and society! VivaTech is dedicated to the growth of startups, hosting more than 13 000 of them and enable them to present their innovation on the market.
Challeges
- Web 3.0 and Creative Industries: Web 3.0 is an incredible opportunity for Creative Industries. In 2020, NFT have appeared as a massive game changer in fashion, video games, music, cinema… giving companies, brands and creators the opportunity to create virtual pieces of art. But beside those new forms of art, it is an economic and technologic revolution which is on tracks.
- Fashion Tech: the future of fashion: With the arrival of digital and web 3.0, the fashion ecosystem is undergoing a fairly brutal revolution. At the product level, clothing and accessories are beginning to integrate electronics. Retail is revolutionizing, sales in physical stores are collapsing while online sales are exploding.
- Education Technology and Creative Industries: New technologies are radically transforming the professions of the Creative Industries. On this subject more than any other, France must innovate and quickly!Nearly 85% of the professions of 2030 do not yet exist. All economic actors today have a requirement for rapid transformation of their learning methods to train students and employees, throughout their lives, for the jobs of tomorrow.

- Pitch in our Lab: 15 startups will be selected to pitch in front of the jury made up of VCs, corporates, decision makers in the French Creative Indutries. Jury members and we are_ will help startups to identify business opportunities and partnerships.
- Participate to “We are French Touch Festival”: 3 startups will get in addition to other prizes a pass to participate to “We are French Touch”, the event that will take place in Paris 2022 to gather all Creative Industries.
Selection Criteria
- You are a French startup from early stage to growth and scale-up
- Your solution can transform Creative Industries
- Your solution has a positive impact (economic, social, environmental)
- Your solution has a high potential in terms of export, softpower, global scale
- Your team (experience, expertise, relevancy)
