Call for Proposals: Ideation Impact Challenge (Philippines)

Special Call for Young Researchers: An Opportunity to Network, Share your Ideas, and contribute to the Future of the Global South!

Deadline: 23-May-25

Are you a young changemaker passionate about gender and youth development in the Bangsamoro region? This is your chance!

The Ideation Impact Challenge is BYC’s official grant scheme mechanism for funding youth-led gender-focused policy research initiatives. This flagship program aims to support and advance policy research proposals, with specific focus on youth and gender studies,  through providing funding opportunities. In partnership with emerging young scholars, this project intends to delve into the nuanced challenges faced by young men and women in the Bangsamoro, seeking to promote evidence-based policymaking and solutions.

Moreover, IIC aims to deepen understanding on the social, economic, and cultural factors influencing youth and women, while empowering young researchers to engage in meaningful collaboration and actively contribute to knowledge production beneficial for designing impactful policy strategies for the Bangsamoro youth and women.

For this year’s proposals, applications are encouraged to explore topics on areas such as the gendered dimensions of youth development anchored to the ten (10) Centers of Youth Participation identified by the National Youth Commission and the Bangsamoro Youth Transition Priority Agenda.
