Deadline: 28-November-2025
The fund aims to enhance business capacity, expand networks, and foster greater participation of Black entrepreneurs in the economy through sustainable, community-driven support.
Eligible applicants must be incorporated non-profit organizations that are led and governed primarily by Black individuals. These organizations must have a clear mandate to serve Black communities in British Columbia and demonstrate the ability to deliver business support services to Black entrepreneurs and business owners. The initiative seeks to empower organizations that already have a strong presence in the community and are capable of scaling up their impact through partnerships, mentorship, and capacity-building activities.
Funding per recipient is variable, with up to $3 million available for request. The overall funding allocation for the region is $3.8 million. Organizations are encouraged to engage with the program team early to discuss project concepts and ensure alignment with the fund’s objectives before submitting their proposals.
This opportunity offers an important platform for Black-led organizations to expand their reach and impact. By developing and delivering programs that build business skills, provide mentorship, and strengthen connections across the entrepreneurial ecosystem, recipients can help drive inclusive economic growth and create lasting change for Black communities across British Columbia.
