The 5th year of the Social Impact Award Program in Turkey, which has supported young people under the age of 30 in more than 25 countries to take a step towards social impact entrepreneurship since 2009, continues under the umbrella of Impact Hub Istanbul and in partnership with Anadolu Efes.
The program, will be introduced to you with the launch event on May 12, and then they will accompany young people who want to work and raise awareness on social entrepreneurship and social impact with workshops open to everyone, designed online and face-to-face.
6 finalist teams to be selected by jury voting from the applications made to the Incubation Program; will complete the intensive incubation period with special workshops, mentoring and networking support. After the Jury Day presentations in October, 3 selected startups will be awarded with the Social Impact Award, while the winners from all SIA countries will have the chance to meet at SIA Summit 2023

- The incubation provides you with all the resources and support needed to transform your idea into a successful venture. As they only have limited spots available, they ask all of those interested to submit an application. This allows the expert jury to select the most promising ideas based on impact potential, degree of innovation, feasibility, and team capacity.

What projects can I apply to the SIA Incubation Program?
- Poverty reduction or health, education or the environment; You can apply with a project that brings a solution to one of today’s social or environmental problems. SIA supports the Sustainable Development Goals!
Eligibility Criteria
- All team members of startups applying to the program must have been born between January 1, 1993 and December 31, 2006.
- At least one team member from the startups applying to the program must have a residence in Turkey.
- Applicants must not have previously participated in the like-minded SIA incubation process or won an SIA award.
- The project idea must not have received funding or revenue before January 1, 2022.
- Ideas presented in previous years may be presented again in 2023.
Evaluation Criteria
- Applications can be made by a team or one person, but it is recommended to apply with a team of at least 2 people. Ideas presented in previous years may be presented again in 2022. (Except previous finalists or winners) Individuals/teams can apply with new ideas even if they have been selected as finalists or winners in previous years.
- Applications; will be evaluated in three main categories: social impact, degree of innovation and feasibility.
