Aim

• The aim of the Early Ethical Entrepreneurial Pitch Competition (EEEPC) is to provide entrepreneurs with an opportunity to present their idea to a business and social entrepreneurial leaders who are influential in the community and who have the mentoring skills and resources to support an entrepreneur or enterprise to make a concept a reality.

• Increased economic growth
• Improved educational outcomes
• Capacity building of a local community
• Improved health

Prize Information

• The Winner of the pitch competition will become part of the Early Pitch Booster Program which provides access to mentorship, professional services, and advice and resources to support entrepreneurs or enterprises to make a concept a reality.
• The Booster Program and its contents are valued at over $50,000 AUD and is an amazing program for Early Ethical Enterprise Competition winners.
• Is Good
  • One selected finalist will get access to their own theisgood.ai impact analysis dashboard for their project for 12 months, using the power of AI and advanced machine learning to make it simpler, smarter and easier to measure impact and uncover insights to improve. You’ll be able to benchmark against standard frameworks like the SDGs, and a data roadmap will help you know what information to collect.

• StartSomeGood
  • The Early Pitch winner will receive “Premium Support” from StartSomeGood to launch their crowdfunding campaign – either at the “Advising Partner” level or a $500 credit towards one of the higher levels. All packages are designed to help you design and launch a great crowdfunding campaign OR a pass to Good Hustle.
• Red Hat Impact
  • Red Hat Impact will choose one of the early pitch finalists to receive 6 months of free access to its ‘Exploring Growth’ program, valued at $1800. The finalist will get one-on-one business strategy advice and facilitated introductions to assist them in taking the next steps with their idea.
• Empowered Leader
  • Empowered Leader mission is to guide clients to build an unshakeable sense of self-belief in their own capacity and capability to be an extraordinary leader in their life and career.
    The Winner of the EEEPC will receive 6 months of coaching, mentoring with Empowered Leader’s founder Liz Ellis valued at $5697 (ex GST).
• Russell Pearson
  • Your Next $60K – Sales and Marketing Program – Value $3850 inc GST: Marketing 10 Week Coaching program that steps members through the process. The program focuses on:
    •  Creating a Crystal Clear Direction for the Business.

  • 1 x open-plan desks for three consecutive months in Australia’s top tech and innovation hub at YBF Melbourne or YBF Sydney.
    Prize value is $2,400.
• RMIT Mentoring
  • A series of mentoring workshops with Dr Natalya Turkina & Dr Joona Keranen of RMIT on “How social enterprises can create value in the post-pandemic world” for the pitch winner, once a week, for 3 months, valued at $6500. These workshops will help the enterprise define its value proposition and explore strategies of communicating this value to stakeholders and broader society in the post-COVID times.
• Social Change Central

In support of Moral Fairground’s efforts to build more commercially viable and investor-savvy environmental, social, and governance (ESG) entrepreneurs and organisations, they are offering the Early Pitch Winner access to 12 months of mentoring from one of our Partners on any aspect of his/her/their idea or startup including strategy, product development, intellectual property, finance, marketing, sales, operations and commercialisation. The prize value is USD12,000 (16038.00AUD as of 15/07/21).

Eligibility Criteria

• Industry leaders will judge the entrepreneurial pitches against the following eligibility criteria:
• The pitch or concept must have the potential to provide a positive impact on the social, economic and environmental status of a local or overseas community, through innovative and ethical practices.
• The pitch or concept must have the potential to provide positive outcomes and change in a community through its trade practices or as a result of a proposed enterprise model.
• The business concept must be well researched and developed and would, therefore, benefit from industry feedback and support.
