IIML EIC's Incubation Program (India)

Deadline: 25-Sep-22

Are you working with innovate solutions that will pave the way for solving the World´s biggest global challenges? Do you want to be a Sustainable Development Goals entrepreneur? If yes, then Tuborgfondet and the Danish Foundation for Entrepreneurship is seeking applications for its Micro Grant to strengthen young entrepreneurs and new business, which are driven by solving global challenges.

The Micro Grant gives pupils/students the opportunity to gain valuable experience with entrepreneurship. From their impact assessments they know that this experience very much influence their desire to become entrepreneurs. At the same time, the purpose of the initiative is to raise a positive awareness about entrepreneurship and talented entrepreneurs at the Danish educational institutions. Here, the Micro Grant recipients often function as role models for their peers. Each year, they receive around 400 applications and award around 130 Micro Grants.

Since 2011, the Danish Foundation for Entrepreneurship has awarded Micro Grants to students with startup ambitions. By contributing a small economic aid to students’ early startup of their own business, the long-term goal is to create growth companies that contribute with jobs, export income and growth in society.

What can you apply for?
What can the grant be used for?

Part of the application process is to submit a budget that shows what the applicant will use the Micro Grant for. The budget is therefore always adapted to the actual needs of the applicant. However, it is important that the Grant is used for activities that will make the idea or business come closer to the market, to proof of concept, growth or job creation. Therefore, these aspects will be taken into consideration in the evaluation of your application.
