What can you expect to achieve after the program?
Their ultimate goal is for founders to leave the program ready to pitch, raise funds or get into a seed-stage tech-focused accelerator program, and fast-track their business. Following the eight-weeks, you’ll continue to have access to tools, resources, go-to-market solutions, AWS leaders, and program alumni who will help you scale your startup long-term. Additionally, you’ll have cash and credits to further extend your runway.
What do you need to participate in the program?
Beyond onboarding week (Week 1) and graduation week (Week 8), this is a virtual program. All you’ll need is a computer with a web camera and a reliable internet connection. Onboarding and graduation weeks will be held in-person (pending CDC guidelines around COVID-19) at their AWS offices. Travel accommodations are covered for the CEO and CTO of startups admitted to the accelerator.
Eligibility Criteria
- AWS Impact Accelerator for Black Founders is designed for U.S.-based Black founders who are the CEO and/or CTO of an innovative tech or tech-enabled startup.
- They are talking pre-seed startups with a solution already built and underway.
- The program is industry and vertical agnostic, and they welcome both technical and non-technical founders who are leveraging cloud technologies or plan to.
