Backed by extensive knowledge and experience in supporting entrepreneurs across Africa, the first accelerator run in 2012 and to date, 244 ventures have been accelerated, worked directly with 436 entrepreneurs, run 24 cohorts and created 30,000+ jobs.

Duration, Programme Activities and Timeline
Programme runs for 6 months divided into 2 phases. First 4 months (May to August) is focused on articulating your vision, setting goals, analysing needs, and developing a Growth Plan. The sessions consist of both online and physical workshops of:
- 14 weeks – Combination of online /offline workshops;
- In company support.
Subsequent support focuses on implementation of Growth Plan and provides access to:
- Implementation support for one GrowthSprint;
- Three 2-day intervention workshops per year {for accountability, peer learning and action planning};
- An annual GAzelle Forum with access to investors, strategic partners and mentors;
- Topic specific sessions with industry & subject experts.
Who they are looking for?
- Entrepreneurs who have businesses that meet these criteria;
- For profit, post revenue business with an innovative product, service or methacolagy;
- Turnover of 50,000 USD or more;
- Existed for 2 years or more;
- Dedicated full time founding team;
- Full time and dedicated core team.
What is the next stage after submitting the application online?
- The internal selection team will go through the applications and invite shortlisted companies for a face-toface meeting/interview at the GrowthAfrica offices within their respective countries.
- If you are shortlisted for an interview, you will be required (as the Founder or Co-founder) to attend the interview in person. After these, they shall conduct due diligence and based on these together with all other factors, determine and extend an offer to 15 participants per country.
