Maruti Suzuki’s Clean Air Challenge Seeks Innovative Startup Solutions for a Healthier Future (India)

Contests and challenges Open for Individuals, Organizations, media and Businesses in India

Deadline: 08-November-2025

Maruti Suzuki has launched the “Quest for Clean Air,” a dynamic initiative designed to address the global crisis of air pollution and promote transformative startup-driven solutions for a cleaner and healthier environment.

The focus areas of this initiative are Innovate to Clean – Solutions to clean the unclean air and Innovate to Breathe – Solutions making it easier to breathe in unclean air.

This pioneering program by Maruti Suzuki, in collaboration with the Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT) at IIT Delhi as the strategic implementation partner, goes beyond being a campaign—it is a call to action for innovation. The initiative aims to identify, support, and scale startups developing impactful technologies that can meaningfully contribute to cleaner air.

Startups participating in this program stand to gain significant advantages, including opportunities for proof of concept with Maruti Suzuki India Limited, investor engagement with leading venture partners, mentorship access to top industry and domain experts, and strategic business development guidance to help scale their ventures. The initiative also facilitates collaborations with key industry leaders to create long-term partnerships that accelerate innovation and market reach.

To be eligible, startups must operate in the deeptech sector. It is desirable for applicants to have a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) between 6 and 9, a DPIIT registration, a minimum viable product (MVP), and paying clients. The contest falls under the focus sector Agnostic.
