Techstars New York City Accelerator Program is now open to support a diverse group of founders with world-class resources that help them grow and scale.

Eligibility Criteria
- Techstars funds all types of startups, working in all verticals, using any type of business models. Do keep in mind, however, that their focus is on startups rather than small businesses.
- They do require that you be primarily based on-site during the program, unless you are participating in one of their virtual programs. This benefits you because you can take advantage of the numerous learning opportunities, networking, and coaching that they provide. The amount of serendipity, unannounced drop-in mentors, and camaraderie that is developed during the program is staggering.
- Techstars is a major commitment, and they expect you to be around most of the time. However, it’s your company, you call the shots, so traveling as necessary for business or family requirements is okay by them.
- Many companies do decide to relocate to the city where they went through their Techstars program because of the vast local network that they can continue to tap into once the program concludes.
- If you’re accepted into Techstars, their local teams will provide additional resources to help you find housing.
- The primary language that they use in verbal and written communications during all accelerator programs—in every country—is English.
