Deadline: 8 June 2020
In line with Singapore Art Week’s marketing tagline #ArtTakesOver, the National Arts Council (NAC) is seeking to support innovative and exciting visual arts programmes that will temporarily take over the island during Singapore Art Week 2021.
The Singapore Art Week offers artists, collectives, organisations and other art intermediaries a visible platform for presenting original, creative and ground-breaking visual arts programmes to both local and international audiences. During this period, innovative art and lifestyle events will also be launched to complement key events in visual arts calendar.
Singapore Art Week is an annual celebration of visual arts which takes place in the month of January. Jointly organised by the National Arts Council, Singapore Tourism Board and the Singapore Economic Development Board, Singapore Art Week is the leading, go-to visual arts season in Southeast Asia, attracting both local and international visitors alike. The ninth edition in 2021 will be held from 22 to 30 January. The nine-day celebration of the visual arts will take place across Singapore, from the arts and cultural institutions and private galleries, to art precincts, independent art spaces and public spaces near where they live and work.
