ACBAR: Seeking Proposals for Log-Frame Training

DFA: Reconciliation Fund in Ireland

Deadline: 30 August 2018

ACBAR is currently implementing a four year DFID funded capacity building program, the Twinning Program, supporting humanitarian assistance in Afghanistan. This programs aims to improve the capacity of National NGOs (NNGOs) to respond to humanitarian needs. ACBAR will coordinate and train NNGOs to improve their capacity to assess and respond to humanitarian needs in Afghanistan and access international funding, including the Common Humanitarian Fund (CHF).

As log-frame development is essential to designing successful projects/programs, ACBAR has identified the need to develop the log-frame skills of NNGOs so that they can confidently design a log-frame when presenting proposals to donors including CHF for projects and programs.

The purpose of this request is to provide ACBAR with a proposal for logframe training for two days for NNGOs working in the humanitarian sector.

The training session should be for 2 days and should give a basic overview of log-frame design for project/program planning and include definitions, practical development of log-frames during the training using samples from various donors and stakeholders including CHF.
