Proposals for Building Capacity of Women and Key Stakeholders (pakistan)

The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment (UN Women) are seeking expression of interest from non-government organisations for UNHCR Myanmar Stateless Programme and UNHCR and UN Women’s Convention on the elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) based Women and Peacebuilding program.

UN Women is the UN organisation dedicated to gender equality and the empowerment of women. UN Women has established to accelerate progress on meeting needs worldwide. UN Women supports Member States in setting global standards for achieving gender equality and work with governments and civil society to design the laws, policies, programmes and services required to implement these standards. UN Women stands behind women’s equal participation in all aspect of life, focusing on the following five priority areas:

Eligibility Criteria

Registered Non-Government organisations (national and international) that deem themselves eligible to perform and have unique and complementary attributes to UNHCR’s and UN Women’s capacities and resources for understanding the project are invited to submit concept note.
