The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking proposals for its Communications campaign to mark UNDP’s 25th Anniversary in Armenia on the theme “25 Years with Armenia: 25 Ways UNDP Transformed Lives of Armenians”.
The 25th anniversary of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Armenia is an opportunity to reflect on the UNDP’s activities in Armenia since 1993 and take stock of its long-lasting achievements.
It is also an opportunity to focus where the UNDP needs to further increase its efforts to address current and future challenges across the three pillars of its work: sustainable development, democratic governance, and climate and disaster resilience.
Objectives
- To illustrate UNDP’s contribution towards transformation of the lives of Armenians in 25 years, using country level examples.
- To demonstrate the change in development situation in Armenia since 1993 that was prompted by UNDP, using country level examples.
- To visualize the impact of UNDP projects and initiatives at national, regional and community
- To strengthen and create partnerships through increased participation, engagement and knowledge sharing.
- To gain society’s positive attitude/empathy and recognition of the work done by UNDP in
Target Audience
- Government of Armenia (at central, regional and municipal levels) and its affiliated structures
- Traditional and emerging international donor community
- Private sector
- Active youth wishing to have an impact on socio-economic and governance reform agenda in Armenia
Eligibility Criteria
- Advanced understanding of broad UNDP values, and UNDP activities globally and in Armenia
- Proven experience in designing and executing communications campaigns
- Proven experience in video and digital production
- Previous successful experience with UNDP or other UN agencies would be an asset
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadline and work under pressure
- Team Leader, a minimum of 5 year professional experience in public relations/communications
- Communications Expert, a minimum of 5 year experience in designing effective communications campaigns
- Digital Production Expert, a minimum of 4 year experience in digital (video) production
