Deadline: 10 November 2017
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking applications from Innovators for its Innovation Competition entitled “Accelerate inclusive business models to promote access to and use of solar energy services by people in Senegal.”
This call for innovation competition is intended to support the expansion of proven, integrated business solutions by addressing key business barriers through targeted funding.
The main objective of this call for tenders is to prioritize the solutions proposed by innovative inclusive companies, relevant in terms of context and centered on the needs of the target populations, to broaden their scope and thus their impact.
The expected outcome of this innovation competition is that UNDP supports some inclusive business models in scaling up, thus leading to a clear positive impact on the target beneficiaries and the promotion of access to and access to use of solar energy services by the people of Senegal.
Funding Information
- The winners of this innovation contest get US $ 25,000 in cash and US $ 15,000 in kind (goods and services)! If applicant’s company, for example, has deficits in terms of qualified personnel, the amount awarded could be used in part for a capacity building program.
- The recipient company must provide cash or in-kind consideration of at least US $ 25,000 in cash, or otherwise be disqualified.
