Arts Council is seeking nominations for “Visual Arts Project Award” to support the development and delivery of projects in 2019. There are two strands to the award.
Strands
- Development: The purpose of the development strand is to support artists, curators or producers to develop and research new, ambitious work intended for public presentation. - Explore the potential of relevant permissions for off-site, public-realm work

- Enable the creation of work that is ambitious, whether off-site or in a gallery setting.
- Enable the public to experience visual arts in new and exciting ways.
- Enable collaborative practice.
- Enable the completion of a body of ambitious work, whether a once-off project, exhibition or series of events.
- Enable the publication of material on visual artists or the visual arts that has a clearly defined readership-and-distribution strategy.
