Call for Submissions: Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme (Iran)

Apply for Immuno-Informatics Postdoctoral Fellowship

Deadline: 06-Feb-2026

The Fondation Maison des sciences de l’homme (FMSH) offers short-term fellowships of two to three months in France to Iranian postdoctoral researchers currently residing in Iran.

This mobility aid is intended to enable them to conduct research work in France within a hosting research center: field research, work in libraries and archives, integration into research programmes and international collaborations.

Selected researchers will receive a monthly stipend of 1,700 euros, paid at the beginning of each month, to cover living expenses including transport, accommodation, and insurance costs. Additionally, airfare will be covered by the Foundation.

This mobility aid enables researchers to undertake fieldwork, library and archive research, and participate in international collaborations and research programmes in France. The FMSH assists laureates in obtaining a visa to France, identifying a local hosting research center, and organizing logistics such as accommodation, workspace, and access to libraries.

Eligible applicants must be Iranian nationals residing in Iran, hold a master’s or doctoral degree, and be engaged in research within the humanities and social sciences. Proficiency in French or English is required depending on the project. At the end of their stay, laureates are required to submit a report of 30,000 characters detailing the work accomplished and its benefits for their research project.

Applications must be submitted online between October 6, 2025, and February 6, 2026, 5pm (Paris time). The submission includes an application form and a scientific dossier in French or English, containing a research proposal (10,000–20,000 characters), bibliography, detailed programme of the stay, curriculum vitae (maximum two pages), a copy of passport, list of up to five publications, and the highest university degree obtained—all combined into a single PDF document.

A selection committee composed of FMSH members and independent experts will evaluate applications based on the quality of the scientific dossier, the relevance of a research stay in France, and the candidate’s ability to identify scientific contacts in France. Priority will be given to candidates who have not previously benefited from the programme.

The deadline for applications is 6 February 2026.
