Nominations are open for the fourth year of the Australian Awards for Excellence in Women’s Leadership to recognise the contribution of individuals to the advancement of gender equality at a National and State/Territory level.
The award recognises contribution of individuals that through the visibility of their actions have significantly improved the likelihood of Australian women receiving equitable access to higher levels of leadership and responsibility.
The underlying purpose of The Australian Award for Excellence in Women’s Leadership is to increase visibility and momentum for the push for Australian women to receive equitable access to higher levels of leadership and responsibility across all industries and the broader Australian community.
Nominations for the award can be submitted for people who have contributed significantly to elevating the visibility and importance of Australian women receiving equitable access to higher levels of leadership across all industry and all forms of organisation.
All Australian’s are invited to nominate an outstanding Australian individual that meets the broad criteria.
Nomination Criteria
- Nominees must be 18 years or older from 1st January 2016.
- Nominees must have been employed and/or resided within Australia between January 1 2016 and November 30 2016. Whilst an emphasis will be placed on the achievements of the nominee during 2016, nominations may also refer to actions that commenced before that time and continued into the application period, particularly in any instance where prior activity served as a foundation for ongoing and more current activities.
