Competition for Educational Grants on Human Rights in Ukraine

Human Rights

Deadline: 14-Nov-2025

The Center for Civil Liberties has opened an educational grant competition focused on human rights, inviting civil society and human rights organizations in Ukraine to submit proposals for projects to run from January 2026 for a period between five and ten months.

The grants are valued between 250,000 UAH and  340,000 UAH, offering substantial support for education, awareness-raising, and civic engagement activities centred on human rights themes.

Eligible applicants include charitable organizations and registered public civic associations in Ukraine that are legal entities listed in the registry of non-profit institutions and organizations. Winning proposals should propose educational or awareness programs about human rights, equality, non-discrimination, open lectures or public discussions, or the development and dissemination of educational materials. The projects must not be located in temporarily occupied territories, zones where government authorities do not exercise power, or along conflict frontlines.

Excel budget template, and additional documents such as the organization’s statute, registration record, non-profit status certificate, financial report from 2024, and staff resumes.

This opportunity gives eligible Ukrainian nonprofits a chance to secure funding to amplify human rights education and civic values across communities.
