The Energy and Environment Partnership Programme with the Mekong Region (“EEP Mekong”) is currently seeking proposals for project support towards access to sustainable energy with prospects for scaling-up and/or replication to achieve greater access to energy services through the fast tracking of sustainable energy project demonstration and deployment and private sector investment.
This Call-for-Proposals (CfP-8) is aiming at both Civil Society Organizations (CSO) and private sector companies in clean energy to propose projects. CSO can propose pilot projects on a smaller scale whereas private sector projects should be close to commercial maturity and have potential for scaling-up.
Funding Information
The minimum size of a proposed project is 250,000 Euro.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible applicants for project financing by the Programme are:
- Civil Society Organizations (CSO) (Window EEPM-8A)
- Private companies (Window EEPM-8B)
- Applicants can partner with other organisations to meet human resource requirements, the financial capacity and technical capacity to implement the proposed project.
- The Lead Applicants (in case of consortia) or sole applicants must be registered in one of the Mekong partner countries, or Finland.
- The following types of organisations are not eligible for EEP Mekong financing: Multilateral institutions, development agencies, and Trust funds.
