If yes, Then I Inspire Awards 2017 wants to celebrate your achievements and share your stories.
Nominations are open for the Biz Divas I Inspire Awards 2016 that honor and celebrate leaders around India working to strengthen inclusive voice, increase economic opportunities for women and other minorities, and protect their rights.
The award sponsors are seeking leaders that help to tackle the discrimination and disadvantages millions of women & other minority groups face around the world.
Award Categories
- Social Awards
- The Women Rights Award: This award honors an Individual who takes action to protect and restore the rights, safety, and dignity of all people, especially women and girls who have been exploited by gender-based violence and have shown exemplary leadership skills and innovation to create ripple effects in the women rights issue. S/he is a leader of high integrity, extreme passion. They are the individuals who have contributed significantly – often against great odds and at great personal risk – to advance the rights of women and girls and to increase awareness of the injustices women face on account of their gender.
- The Young Trailblazer Award: This award recognizes a young pioneer whose vision, contribution, and leadership has broken through barriers, and brought people together to take action that hastens shared progress.
- The Social Innovation Award: This Award recognizes an individual who is an innovative leader who finds solutions to expand economic opportunities, relieve poverty, or increase the financial inclusion of marginalized communities. This is for the individuals who attract, support and inspire some of the most innovative, high-impact social entrepreneurs in India.
- The Community Excellence Award: This award recognizes a group/community who has made an outstanding contribution towards a local minority community – age, disability, gender, LGBT and other issues.
- Corporate Awards
- The Inclusion Leadership Award: This Award recognizes an individual for his/her efforts aimed at promoting diversity awareness, representation and inclusion within the India Inc. S/he would have shown a passionate commitment towards D&I agenda other than their own KRAs and have been influencing their organizational team and stakeholders consistently to adopt the inclusive culture.
- The Employee Network Excellence Award: This award recognizes an employee network which has been able to demonstrate its impact in shaping and driving the Diversity & Inclusion agenda; and demonstrated the sustained value it has added to the business
- The Divers-ability Award: This award recognizes an organization for initiating and leading action to remove barriers and improve the working experience and engagement levels of disabled employees or through excellence in the delivery of services to disabled people.
- The Gender Mainstreaming Award: This award recognizes an organisation that has initiated and successfully lead programs to remove ‘gender related’ barriers and has sustained gender diversity initiatives, policies and processes within their framework to assure improved working experience and engagement levels of all employees.
