Submit Applications for Justworks.org Capacity Building Grants 2025 (US)

Public Diplomacy Small Grants Program (Djibouti)

Deadline: 14-Nov-2025

The Justworks.org Capacity Building Grants for 2025–2027 aim to strengthen the operational foundations of U.S.-based nonprofits that support entrepreneurs facing systemic and extraordinary challenges.

Rather than funding specific programs, these grants focus on helping organisations enhance their capacity, stability, and long-term impact. Each selected nonprofit will receive $100,000 over a two-year period to help strengthen leadership, improve systems and processes, and expand their reach. This initiative is open to U.S. nonprofit organisations that hold official 501(c)(3) status.

Eligible applicants must have missions dedicated to supporting founders and entrepreneurs who struggle to get their businesses off the ground due to limited access to resources, capital, networks, or mentorship. The organisations should work with entrepreneurs affected by socioeconomic factors such as low generational wealth, economic hardship, educational inequalities, caregiving responsibilities, or health-related challenges.

Proposals should focus on strengthening operational capacity, fostering a sustainable and dynamic workforce, or scaling the organisation’s impact. Both early-stage and established initiatives are welcome, although projects with strong potential for measurable implementation within the next two years will be prioritised. Applicants must be small to medium-sized nonprofits that operate primarily within the United States or its territories.

To maintain fairness, organisations that have already received a Justworks grant in the past two years are not eligible to apply. Through this program, Justworks.org reaffirms its commitment to supporting the nonprofit ecosystem that helps underrepresented entrepreneurs access the tools, resources, and networks they need to thrive.
