Uganda Biodiversity Fund: Call for Project Proposals for Small Grants Scheme

The Uganda Biodiversity Fund (UBF) is seeking project proposals for its Small Grants Scheme in order to use different appropriate granting amount, develop projects and implement interventions that result in significant conservation outcomes and to document lessons and experiences learned in order to improve on the grant making policy and programming.

The Uganda Biodiversity Fund (UBF), a registered, private and independently managed charitable trust fund was established in 2016 with a mission to “Serve as a catalyst for mobilizing, managing and channeling financial resources for biodiversity conservation and sustainable use of natural resources in Uganda for the benefit of current and future generations”.

Thematic Areas

Applicants can develop proposals under the following sub thematic areas. Applicants may include outcomes from up to two sub themes but not more than two different sub thematic areas in a single proposal:

Duration of the Activity

This activity shall be implemented within a period of 9 months starting January – September 2019. It may be extended if there is commendable performance and available funds.
