UNDP Montenegro: Training Program for Rangers in Protected Areas

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Montenegro is seeking proposals from eligible organisations for a training program for rangers in protected areas, under the project entitled “Improved management of protected areas and the Western Balkans countries”.

The program is financed by the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and implemented by UNDP Montenegro. One of the project outputs is designed to improve rangers’ services in selected pilot sites by training staff members in line training program, “Park Ranger in a protected area.

The program was standardized at the Montenegro national level by the Centre for Vocational Education at the end of 2013 and training program has become active since the beginning of 2014, by the adoption from the Council of Education.
