Call for Project Proposals: Supporting Involvement of Civil Society in Justice Reform to Ensure Fair Trial in Tunisia

Thus, ASF and ATL MST SIDA, through the support of the European Union, have launched a call for project proposals to support involvement and participation of civil society in the reform of justice to ensure the trial equity, access to justice and improvement of conditions and reintegration prisoners. Funded projects must be part of one of the following themes:

The beneficiaries of the actions financed will be the detainees as well as the litigants in vulnerability situation. In order to guarantee the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of the actions developed by Beneficiary CSOs, the proposed action will include a strengthening program capacities and support throughout the duration of the funded projects. A capacity building plan tailored to beneficiary organizations projects will be designed and developed directly with them.

Funding Information

The overall budget available for the financing of all projects is one total amount of EUR 600,000. Each project proposed should correspond to a budget of between 20,000 euros and 120,000 euros.

Period of implementation

The implementation period for selected projects must be 18 months and 24 months. The estimated date for starting the projects is March 2019.
