Deadline: 24-Sep-2025
The BC Arts Council is inviting applications for the Arts and Culture Transition (ACT) Program for Organizations and Collectives for the fiscal year 2025–26.
The focus of the program is to provide flexible funding to arts and culture organizations and collectives to support stability, adaptability, and resilience while responding to the needs of the sector. The program supports organizations and collectives undertaking activities such as strategic and business planning, organizational change, capacity building, equity work, professional development, and other initiatives that help sustain and strengthen arts and culture practices in British Columbia.
Eligible applicants include organizations and collectives based in British Columbia that are undertaking arts and culture activities. The program is designed to respond to the diverse and evolving needs of the sector and emphasizes capacity building, equity, and long-term sustainability.
Applicants can use the funding to carry out initiatives that prepare them for the future, develop organizational strength, and address systemic barriers. Funding may also support the exploration of new models, practices, and collaborations that enable organizations and collectives to better serve their communities and audiences.
The maximum funding amount available through this program is $25,000, which will be awarded to selected organizations and collectives whose proposals align with the program’s objectives.
Applications are accepted during the intake period, and successful projects must align with the overall goals of strengthening and sustaining arts and culture in British Columbia.
